Hickory City Schools is pleased to announce the transfer of Jason Hoyle, formerly the Instructional Technology Facilitator/Media Coordinator at Hickory High School, to the Administrative Services building, where he will be taking on the role of Instructional Technology Specialist.
Mr. Hoyle has been an invaluable asset to Hickory High School, demonstrating unwavering commitment and excellence as the Instructional Technology Facilitator/Media Coordinator. His passion for integrating technology into education has been evident through various successful initiatives at the school.
Jason Hoyle holds Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Music Education and a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Technology Facilitation from Appalachian State University. His academic background and practical experience make him an ideal candidate to lead the district's instructional technology efforts.
In his new capacity as Instructional Technology Specialist, Mr. Hoyle will be pivotal in advancing the district's instructional technology infrastructure and supporting educators in integrating technology effectively into the curriculum. His responsibilities will include providing professional development opportunities for teachers, collaborating on technology implementation strategies, and ensuring that the district remains at the forefront of educational technology trends.
