Hickory City Schools announces the victory of Northview Middle School in the recent Battle of the Books competition. Held between Northview and Grandview Middle Schools on Tuesday, March 12th, the competition showcased the literary prowess of young minds and their dedicated coaches.

In a closely contested battle, Northview Middle School emerged victorious with an impressive score of 74, narrowly defeating Grandview, who scored 65 points. The competition was a testament to the students' and coaches' hard work and dedication.

With their win, Northview Middle School's team will advance to the Regional Middle School Battle of the Books competition, scheduled to take place on Friday, March 22nd, at Corinth Reformed Church in Hickory. This achievement highlights Northview Middle School's commitment to academic excellence and literary exploration.
