Carla Davis wins the Golden Apple Classified Employee of the Year!
Hickory High's Carla Davis is the 2017-2018 HPS Golden Apple winner!
Words shared about Ms. Davis during the Red Carpet Employee Ceremony: “This productive person helps with finances and all budgets for all of Hickory High. She keeps the staff aware of the substitutes who are in the building—on a daily basis. She has a great relationship with staff, her supervisor, and her colleagues. She is very respectful to the students and just a pleasure to work with. It is wonderful to work with someone who appreciates her job and strives to give it her best – every day. She is family oriented and constantly supports the coaches and athletic events throughout the year. This person has a strong work ethic—and maintains a calm demeanor. She never complains and is truly a trustworthy person. She has experienced some health challenges through hip replacement—but she comes to work with a positive attitude, ready to face the challenges of each day. She is most deserving of this public recognition!"
